Who We Are

An alliance of people who refuse to stay silent.

ACT is wedded to countrywide service — relief and socioeconomic development for communities, and maximum protection for our youth from drugs. Where resources allow, we also work as a private venture alongside the efforts of the Government of Pakistan.

Our Mission

Protecting youth, one community at a time.

To spread education through professional institutes, and to take awareness directly where it is needed most — rural areas, high schools, colleges and universities — through seminars, workshops and conferences, backed by healthy alternatives for the young generation.

Green fields under a hopeful sky
Our Vision

A brighter, drug-free future, nationwide.

One nation moving toward one destination: a Pakistan where every young person grows up free from addiction — educated, healthy, active, and able to build a better socioeconomic future for their family and community.

Our Programs

Five pillars. One transformation.

Every ACT activity sits under one of our five founding aims, A to E.

Why It Matters

Prevention is the strongest protection we have.

± 8.9 million drug users in Pakistan

The scale of the crisis reported in national prevention work — and the reason silence is not an option.

Youth are the most at risk — and the most reachable

Through the institutions they already attend every day: schools, colleges and universities.

Prevention returns far more than it costs

International prevention standards show good youth prevention programs save many times their cost in treatment and social harm.

Context: ANF-reported statistics as cited by KKAWF; UNODC International Standards on Drug Use Prevention. Figures to be re-verified against primary sources before launch.

Our Roadmap

This is where we're starting — not where we stop.

Each phase earns the trust the next one needs.

01

Recognition & Outreach

Establish ACT, build the founding team, and open doors in schools, colleges and rural communities.

In Progress
02

Training Our Team

Train members and ambassadors — selected on ability and experience — to deliver seminars to a professional standard, city to city.

Next
03

Healthy Youth Nationwide

Scale the educational programme and healthy activities across Pakistan, with institutions as long-term partners.

Questions

What people ask us.

Is ACT a rehabilitation or treatment centre?

No. ACT is a prevention, education and community organisation. Our work is awareness, seminars, educational programmes and healthy activities — reaching youth before addiction begins. Where someone needs treatment, we can guide families toward the right professional help.

How does ACT fund its work?

ACT works on a no profit, no loss basis: relief and services are provided at cost for the community, focused on socioeconomic development rather than income.

Can our school or college host an ACT seminar?

Yes — that is core to our mission. Institutions can request a seminar through the Seminars page; ACT assigns members selected on ability and experience.

Who can become a member?

Anyone who shares the mission. Members serve in different cities according to their ability and experience, after orientation and training.
